From being born in Nigeria and being raised in a Nigerian household in Canada to spending the last 10+ years in NYC, Folasade has leveraged her collective life experiences to her advantage. More than being a multidisciplinary Black creative, Folasade brings her eccentric experiences to each area of her work either be it modeling on sets, her entrepreneurial drive, or through her creative expressions. Through a cosmopolitan lens, Folasade serves a growing, international audience of followers who share her passion for a more diverse and culturally vibrant world.  Most recently, she co-founded Teranga, a critically acclaimed Pan-African eatery that is introducing the U.S. to traditional African cuisine. She has gone on to design covers for the Wall Street Journal. Folasade’s unique look and style have landed her features with a diverse range of brands, including Vogue Italia, Metal Magazine, Into The Gloss, SAKS, Cartier, and Stella McCartney, to Glossier, Outdoor Voices, and Nike.
